The origins of this style of outer garment stem from late nineteenth century France, where it was ideal for the tough physical work of labourers, railroad workers, and farmers. Cut from cotton twill herringbone - a traditional workwear fabric used by several militaries during and after WWII - the Stan Ray Chore Jacket is a modern interpretation of a historic style.
