Made from a beautiful porcelain, the Mortar's round, compact design belies how much thought went into its crafting. Look inside, and you'll see score marks on the side of the mortar's bowl, and cross-hatching on the bottom - that extra texture helps to extract more aromatics and flavour components from garlic cloves, woody spices, leafy herbs and more.
The Pestle is a perfect match for the Mortar, with a curved end that matches the curvature of the Mortar bowl to ensure you can effectively crush and grind your ingredients. The pestle's bamboo construction makes it lightweight in your hand, with a coating that prevents scents and flavours from seeping into the wood.

We happily accept returns, refunds and exchanges on full-priced items that are in their original condition with all packaging and tags intact. For all returns, please email orders@kindcurations.com promptly with your request.
The return address will be provided via email. Returns must be sent back within 7 days of receiving your order.
Exchange is subject to availability and we recommend submitting your request via email promptly to arrange the exchange. A credit may be supplied subject to our assessment, and at our discretion.
Sale items are not eligible for a refund, however may be exchanged for other items or a credit note unless deemed faulty. FINAL SALE items are not eligible for returns.
